B&B Bergheide is located in the outskirts of Baexem (municipality of Leudal). The Houtwallen van Bergheide nature reserve is literally in the backyard. In this rural area there are various routes through nature, such as route 70 through the backyard and cycling nodes 41 and 43 are less than a kilometer away.
Didn't bring bicycles? You can explore the area in style with our grandpa bicycle (more than 50 years old) and grandma bicycle (more than 80 years old). If you prefer an electric bicycle, these can be rented in consultation. De Groote Peel National Park, Sarsven nature reserve and the Leudalbos are all fairly close by. The Tungelroyse brook even competes behind our garden, so there is no shortage of nature and beautiful places.
Would you rather go on a city trip? The B&B is centrally located in relation to various cities: Venlo, Eindhoven and Maastricht are a maximum of 45 minutes by car. (Designer outlet) Roermond can even be reached in 18 minutes. Various books and games can be found in the holiday home for quality time 'at home'. But there is also plenty to do in the area. On the border of Leveroy you can take a look at the Goat Farm. In Nederweert-Eind you can visit Open Air Museum Eynderhoof. At Groepsuitje Limburg in Ospel you can book various activities and packages; from escape rooms to farmer's golf. You can go bowling in Nederweert, but don't forget to pay a visit to Florence's ice cream parlor of the year.

Food and drinks, the kitchen in the B&B is equipped with luxury kitchen appliances. Do you prefer to eat out? Then we do have some tips. In Nederweert you can enjoy a Mediterranean dinner (or lunch) at Diverso. In Ittervoort at Atmosphere they serve a French/Dutch menu. Do you want to drive a little further than 10 minutes? Then the terraces in Roermond on the quay are really recommended.
The barn is new, it is equipped with a lockable bicycle shed, a lovely lounge corner, a Finnish sauna and an outdoor shower with a wonderful jet of water to cool off. From the barn you can look out over the farmlands and enjoy the chirping birds.
